Pick up points for your Flying Kiwi trip

Below you can find details for the pick up points on the Flying Kiwi route. These are the major pick up points for the trips and also places where you can hop off for a short break, then jump on the next bus that comes past.

Main pick up points:

Auckland at 10.00am on both point 1 and 4 from 172 Quay Street (opposite ferry building). See map .

Taupo 2.00pm outside visitor centre. See map .

Wellington 12:00 noon, platform 9 Wellington railway Station. See map.

Nelson 10.15am outside Visitor Information centre, cnr Halifax and Trafalgar Sts. See map .

Picton 12.30pm, outside railway station. See map .

Christchurch 3.00pm*, outside the Canterbury Museum, Rolleston Avenue. See map . * Note: Until further notice the Christchurch pick up point has been changed to 3:00pm at the Antarctic Centre, 38 Orchard Road. See map.  The office team will provide further details on any trips starting/finishing in Christchurch.

Christchurch 7:15am (for Wild West and Reverse Traverse trips)**, on Atomic Shuttles, 88 Worcester St (opposite Holy Grail bar). See map . ** Note: Until further notice this pick up point has been changed to 7:15am outside Westfield Mall, Riccarton Road. See map.  The office team will provide further details on any trips starting/finishing in Christchurch.

Queenstown 3.00pm from Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park, located by Brecon Street. See map .
