Its official - Flying Kiwi is an award winner!

Kia Ora and welcome to a quick snippet from Flying Kiwi. As our buses start their great tours its celebration time for all the team. Last week, at the Chamber of Commerce business awards, Flying kiwi scooped two prizes and made the final cut in two more. We are so excited we wanted to give stuff away - so here we go!!

This edition is more of an update than a newsletter, with an excellent giveaway, free access to the Sydney adventure travel expo....oh yes and we couldn't help but mention a bit about our awards. :)

Flying Kiwi scoops the awards

Following on from New Zealand's recent successes, Flying Kiwi had a great night at the recent business awards. As the team swapped sandals and combats for polished shoes and ties it was a great night for Flying Kiwi. Special recognition should be given to our guides (who missed out on the night of fame and photos) as we know it couldn't have been done without them.

The Business Awards are organised annually by NTCC with the objectives of encouraging business excellence, and celebrating regional achievements in the business arena.

Flying Kiwi won the Environment Award for the second time, acknowledging our efforts to appreciate this fantastic country in a sensitive and appropriate manner. The judges comments included Flying Kiwi's "very good environmental awareness." The next scoop was the winner of the Medium Business Award which recognised how far Flying Kiwi has come over recent years, now establishing itself as a market leader in the New Zealand activity and transport sector.

Flying Kiwi were also recognised as one of two finalists for the Tourism award and a finalist for the Export Award. The Oscars are a while off but keep your eyes peeled for "Attack of the Flying Kiwi", we like the idea but might need some tweaking from our good friend Peter Jackson!!

FREE entry to the Sydney Adventure Travel & Backpacker Expo

This month Flying Kiwi will be present at the Adventure Expo held on 11th and 12th November at the Sydney Town Hall. Further details of the event can be found here. The event was attended by almost 10,000 people last year and there's heaps of prizes, promotions and an adventure option for nearly every corner of the globe.

Entrance is usually $5 but if you print this newsletter and take it with you, you get in for free. Come and check us out if your passing through and we'll sort out a few nice surprises for those who mention the newsletter. :)
